Why TheirStack?
At TheirStack, we're building one of the world's best data products on top of worldwide jobs and company data. Hundreds of people sign up for our product every day, and we're just getting started. You'll help us 10x that number.
- Small team, big impact: We're a team of 3, yet tens of thousands of users rely on us every month. Sales and marketing teams at companies like Grafana, TigerData or Confluent use our data directly, and salestech companies like Clay, Reo.dev or Genesy integrate it so that all their users can access it too. Your work will have impact from day one, and the features you build will be seen and used by thousands of people every day.
- Bootstrapped and profitable: We don't have to 50x the money of any investor to succeed. Success means solving challenging problems, helping our customers and growing the business while living a full, balanced life, no 996 needed to do our life's work.
- Speed is key: everything boils down to it. The product needs to be fast and efficient, and we need to ship fast and often as well.
Why now?
Our product is self-service — people find us, sign up, and pay without ever talking to a human. But there's a whole layer of go-to-market work we still do by hand: answering sales emails, following up on deals, writing case studies, spotting upsells, and helping our partners succeed. Today that work doesn't scale, and most of it never gets done at all.
We think go-to-market can be engineered like software. Every task becomes a skill an AI agent can run: measurable, validated, and improved over time. Do it once well, and it keeps paying off — the same skill that answers one email answers the next thousand. That's the kind of compound interest we're after.
We already know how to build the infrastructure for this, and we're building it right now. What we're missing is someone to own it.
About the role
This is a building role, not an operating role — but it starts hands-on. You'll answer the first sales emails yourself, putting real care into each one, precisely so you learn what a great answer looks like before you build the skill that does the next thousand. Do a few by hand, then build the agent that answers them, validate that it works, and let it run. Then you'll make it better.
You'll co-own (with the founders) how TheirStack goes to market: inbound sales, deal follow-up, content, upsell, and partnerships.
What will you do?
- Sales inbox skills — Build and continuously improve AI agents that draft correct, high-quality answers to inbound sales emails. Refine the prompts, tools, and evaluation loops so quality keeps climbing as volume grows.
- Deal follow-up — Wire up automated, behavior-triggered follow-ups on open deals, so nothing falls through the cracks and no founder has to remember to chase.
- Case studies at scale — Turn real customer usage and interviews into case studies. Write the first one by hand, then build the pipeline that produces the next ones with a fraction of the effort.
- Upsell detection — Read our own usage data to find accounts with clear upsell signals, and trigger the right outreach at the right moment.
- Partner & affiliate enablement — Work with our affiliate program to help partners get the most out of TheirStack: onboarding flows, playbooks, and skills that make them successful (and keep them selling for us).
- Compounding campaigns — Build the system that takes any validated message, segments the exact customers who need it from our data, and ships a targeted mass campaign — measured end to end, so what works compounds and what doesn't gets cut.
Two kinds of people fit this role
We think two very different profiles can thrive here — and if you're one of them, apply even if you don't tick every box:
- Engineers who want to learn to sell. You already build things end-to-end. Here you'll get close to customers and revenue, and learn how the commercial side of a company actually works — while doing it the way engineers do: with code, data, and automation.
- Sales or marketing people who build skills and want to get closer to programming. You've already been automating your own work with AI skills and agents, and you want to go deeper into the technical side. Here you'll build the machine instead of running it, with engineers to learn from every day.
You will be a good fit if you...
- Are data-driven — you validate before you scale, and you measure whether a skill actually moved the number.
- Use AI tools daily (Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT…) and can turn a repetitive task into a working, reusable skill.
- A plus: you can read code and understand what it does. You've vibecoded before and you're not afraid to open a file and figure out what's going on.
- Have strong product and commercial taste — you can put yourself in a customer's shoes, understand their problem, and write something that actually lands.
- Like talking to customers and staying in constant contact with them to understand how they use the product, what they need, and where they get stuck.
- Think in systems and compound interest — you'd rather spend a day building the skill than an hour doing the task by hand for the tenth time.
- Can read and write English for day-to-day work and customer-facing interactions.
The team
As the second employee at TheirStack, you'll work closely with the founders, helping to shape the company's future:
- Xoel Lopez: Previously at Zara.com, Narrativa, and Tinybird, Xoel specializes in data and web scraping. He kickstarted TheirStack by developing the MVP and building the core data infrastructure, the scrapers and the API, from the ground up.
- Christian Palou: Previously at Manomano.com and Zara.com, Christian focuses on UX, front-end and backend development at TheirStack. Before TheirStack, he launched TrainerStudio.io, a SaaS for personal trainers that was acquired last year.
- Pablo Durán: Previously at Fever, Sngular. Pablo specializes in full stack development (data, backend, frontend, devops, etc). He joined TheirStack in June 2024.
How we work
When will you work?
We work 37.5 hours per week — usually around 8 hours a day from Monday to Thursday, starting at 9:00 a.m. You’re free to start earlier if that fits your routine better. On Fridays, we typically wrap up a bit early — though you can shift that time to another day if needed.
You’ll get 25 vacation days each year, along with the flexibility to work remotely for a few weeks if you want.
We also maintain a more relaxed schedule during summer months (July to August) working 7 hours per day.
Where will you work?
Our team is based in A Coruña, Spain, where we share a co-working space and collaborate in person. This is an on-site role — we value the creativity and connection that come from working together — but we’re also flexible when life demands it.
We understand that everyone has personal responsibilities, whether that’s family, caregiving, or other commitments. This role is based in Coruña and you're expected to be in the office most days, but you can work remotely for a few weeks each year if you want — whether that’s from the Canary Islands, the mountains, or anywhere that inspires you.
Learning & Development
We believe the company grows best when you do. That’s why we offer a dedicated budget for training, courses, and conferences — anything that helps you expand your skills and bring new value to the team. If there’s something you want to learn, we’ll support you in making it happen.
