Experiencia en entornos con alto volumen de leads y venta asistida. Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential and candidates should demonstrate strong communication, customer service, organisation, and digital skills, alongside the ability to learn new processes and work effectively with others.** The successful candidate will be based in our Birmingham office. We have a flexible hybrid working approach, 40% of the week will be spent in the office and 60% will be spent working from home. This is a fast-paced, exciting, and challenging role! National Highways has thousands of employees across the country, which means we have a whole range of HR written and telephone queries coming in to the team to respond to and support on, including providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, and resolving queries from sickness absence management to flexible working and employee matters. **Key Accountabilities** - Provide first line advice to managers and employees within a fast-paced shared services team, whilst working to tight deadlines within service level agreements. - Handle a high volume of inbound calls, acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers, and delivering excellent customer service in a phone-based environment. - Understand, keep up to date with and communicate HR policies, processes, and procedures to employees and managers. - Assist managers with understanding HR procedures such as absence management, with support from the Employee Relations team. - Use HR systems to administer transactional changes to employee records such as processing Flexible Working Applications, Family Leave, Leavers and Partial Retirements. - Monitor and share customer feedback and trends to provide feedback required for the continuous improvement of our HR policies and processes. **About you.** - Experience acting positively and professionally towards helping others, responding to queries, or providing support in a customer focused environment.
