This role requires strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of quality management systems to maintain high standards of production quality and efficiency. **Responsibilities** - Defines the needs and organizes the people in the Q function of the plant. Manage and organize the quality function. - Defines / Validates the annual Q targets for the plant. Responsible for achieving the targets of the Q KPIS for the plant. Communication, actions plans, monitoring - Assures that quality tools and manufacturing quality basics are correctly executed in the plant: QRQC, 8D, …. - Assures the interaction with the new project team at quality level to achieve the objectives of the Launch phase in the plant. - Assures the continuous adaptation of PFMEA, special characteristics, identification, control plan and operational instructions (work instructions auto controls, incoming inspections, etc..) - Ensures the implementation of quality policies and the quality management system (QMS). - Performs system, process and LPA audits at the plant level following audits plant planning. - Prepares plant-level quality management reviews in accordance with group procedures. Leads the monitoring and renewal of quality certifications according to standards and current standards (ISO, IATF,…) and client certifications (VDA, QSB, ASES, BIQS, etc...) - Assures that problem-solving activities are done following the specified standard tool: 8D, 5 whys, 6M,.... Collect and analyze specific customer requirements applicable to the plant (Scaling to QD) and verify compliance at the plant level. - Assures participation in the project activities required (D/PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Audits...) - Escalates quality problems to the plant and group level (complaints, regulation, security and warranty) whose consequences could have an impact on performance of the plant and/or the group. - Assures the definition of monitoring and measuring devices required to prove conformity of the product to the specified requirements and its Measurement System analysis, keeping calibration records and providing laboratory conditions according to 16949 conditions. - Responsible of the determination, collection and analysis of appropriate data to demonstrate the effectiveness and suitability of the Quality Management system **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Quality, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. - Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality control and assurance.
