SherWare is an accounting and back-office platform built for oil and gas operators, producers and investors. It automates revenue distribution, joint interest billing (JIB), AFE and prepayment tracking, land lease and delay rental management, 1065/K-1 processing and state regulatory reporting, and integrates directly with QuickBooks so operators keep their existing general ledger. Founded in 1994 in Clemmons, North Carolina, it serves over 1,000 clients across the US. SherWare, Inc. was acquired by Pivoten in October 2022 and continues to be sold and supported under the SherWare name.
