TheirStack backfills a board with the jobs from career pages, ATSs and other job boards that match your niche, delivered by webhook, API or dataset, and tells you when each one closes.

To backfill a job board with TheirStack, save one broad search for your niche with title, location and technology filters, and import the matches on a schedule. Pull new jobs by discovery date from the Job Search API, or receive each one through a webhook as soon as we find it.

How do I remove jobs from my board when they close?

Accepted Answer

Remove a job from your board when TheirStack marks it closed, through the job closed webhook or by polling the API for jobs closed since your last sync. Closures are usually detected within 24 hours, and the closed date is when we confirmed the job was gone from its source.

Should I use a job feed API, webhooks or a dataset for my board?

Accepted Answer

For up to about 2 million jobs a month, TheirStack's webhooks or Job Search API suit a job board best, and above 5 million a dataset is usually cheaper. Datasets come as hourly or daily incremental CSV or Parquet files in S3. The jobs and their quality are the same whichever way you take them.

Can I import jobs from ATSs like Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby?

Yes, TheirStack collects jobs from ATSs, job boards and company career pages, and you can keep only jobs hosted on the ATSs you choose. Filter by job URL domain, such as greenhouse.io or workable.com, which matches the domain of the job URL or its source URL.

Will the same job show up on my board twice?

Accepted Answer

Duplicates are rare in TheirStack because a role syndicated to several boards is merged into one posting. If the same company posts the same title again within 30 days, we keep the first posting and drop the repost. A repost after more than 30 days counts as a new posting.
