Market note
Brazil is the largest market in Latin America and the one most often mis-filtered, because a Spanish-language keyword list does not work on it — Brazilian postings are in Portuguese, and a LATAM query written for Mexico or Colombia will quietly miss most of the region's volume. Computrabajo covers a chunk of the local board layer, and Brazilian tech employers increasingly post through international applicant tracking systems, which is where the remote-hiring volume shows up.
Brazil is a market where the remote share is worth reading in both directions: it captures Brazilian employers hiring remotely, and also foreign employers advertising remote roles open to Brazil.

Methodology
- What we count. Individual online job postings, not survey-based vacancy estimates. A posting is counted once, on the date it was published.
- Where they come from. Job boards, company career pages behind applicant tracking systems, and aggregators — see the full source list.
- Deduplication. The same role published on several boards is merged into one posting, so multi-source coverage inflates neither counts nor trends.
- Geography. A posting counts towards a country when any of its locations resolve to that country, so a multi-country posting is counted in each. Country breakdown tables instead attribute each posting to its primary location, so a single posting never appears twice in the same table.
- Refresh. New postings are discovered daily; the figures on this page are recomputed monthly against the live dataset.
